The Embassy of Uganda in Beijing is taking part in the Tourism Plus Expo currently taking place in Shanghai. This platform is aimed at showcasing Uganda’s tourism potential and strengthening ties with China and other international partners.

The three-day event, running from March 29 to 31, has attracted tourism stakeholders from around the globe. Uganda has set up a dedicated exhibition booth to highlight its culture, natural attractions, and investment opportunities.

Uganda’s pavilion stands out as a vibrant cultural showcase, offering visitors an immersive experience through a combination of visuals, sounds, and authentic artifacts that reflect the country’s heritage and diversity.

A key feature of the display includes a collection of Ugandan products, such as handmade crafts and culturally significant items that emphasize local craftsmanship and the country’s natural resources.

The exhibition is further enhanced by live performances from Ugandan cultural dancers, which draw crowds and energize the pavilion while highlighting the nation’s rich ethnic traditions.

Officials from the embassy state that the expo offers an opportunity to position Uganda as a preferred travel destination known for its wildlife, landscapes, and hospitality.

They believe this engagement with international tourism stakeholders will help attract visitors and investors as Uganda continues to promote growth in its tourism sector.
