The Uganda Hotel Owners’ Association has announced the launch of the Annual Hospitality Expo 2025, scheduled to take place from August 1 -3, 2025, at Hotel Africana, Kampala
The event, held under the theme “Innovation, Investment & Sustainability in Hospitality”, will bring together key stakeholders from across the hospitality, tourism, and service sectors for three days of exhibitions, panel discussions, networking, and business development.
The Speaker of Parliament of Uganda, Anitah Among, alongside the Minister for Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities, Tom Butime, plus other top government and private sector leaders, will officially open the Expo.
Attendees will include hotel owners, managers, travel and tour operators, policymakers, tech innovators, investors, and service providers from within Uganda and beyond.
“The UHOA Annual Hospitality Expo continues to be a critical platform to showcase Uganda’s growing tourism and hospitality potential. This year, we are focusing on sustainability and innovation as key pillars for industry resilience and growth,” Susan Muhwezi, the Chairperson of UHOA, said.
According to a statement from the organizers, the event will host over 100 exhibitors from across the region.
Among other things, the event will also have a CEO Breakfast Roundtable with top industry executives, live product demonstrations, and B2B networking sessions.
Others are skills showcased by hospitality training institutions, Workshops on green tourism, digital marketing, and customer experience.
This inaugural event is expected to attract over 5,000 local and international visitors and offers a unique opportunity for stakeholders to form strategic partnerships, learn best practices, and engage with the latest trends reshaping the hospitality sector.
